INGREDIENTS:
WHOLEGRAIN BROWN RICE (PARBOILED).
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
- Fill medium-sized pot 3/4 full with water.
- Add 1/4 cup of rice per person. Bring to boil.
- Boil gently uncovered (on medium heat) for 15-17 minutes.
- Drain excess water and season with salt, pepper or butter to taste.

- Combine ingredients (see chart below) in a medium saucepan and bring to boil over HIGH heat.
- Stir, cover and boil gently over MEDIUM-LOW heat for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes or until water has been absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
