- Combine rice, water, and butter or trans fat free spread in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil. Stir, cover, and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside until water is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
