Uncle Ben's Classiques® - Brown & Wild Rice with Burgundy Wine Flavour 1 pkg. (1 pkg.)
butter 15 ml (1 Tbsp)
onion, chopped 50 ml (1/4 cup)
apple, roughly chopped 1 (1)
apple juice 250 ml (1 cup)
raisins, seedless 50 ml (1/4 cup)
almonds sleevers, dry roasted 75 ml (1/3 cup)
lemon juice 5 ml (1 tsp)
water 300 ml (1 1/4 cups)


INSTRUCTIONS: Prep: 5min. | Start to Finish: 30min.
  1. Melt butter in a non-stick pot over medium heat and gently sauté onions and apples. Add rice and seasoning pouch, apple juice and 300 ml (1-1/4 cups) water. Bring to a boil, stir, reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
  2. Stir in raisins, almonds and lemon juice. Replace lid and set aside for 5 minutes before serving.
