MOROCCAN BEEF & RICE SKILLET

INGREDIENTS:QUANTITY:
vegetable oil 15 ml (1 Tbsp)
cube steak, cut into thin strips 375 g (3/4 lb)
onion, sliced 125 ml (1/2 cup)
Uncle Ben's® Instant Rice 375 ml (1-1/2 cups)
beef stock, water and buillon cubes 375 ml (1-1/2 cups)
raisins 50 ml (1/4 cup)
ground cinnamon 2 ml (1/2 tsp)


INSTRUCTIONS: Prep: 10min. | Start to Finish: 15min.
  1. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onion until slightly softened. Push to the sides of the pan and add beef strips. Sauté until lightly browned.
  2. Add rice, beef stock, raisins and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to very low and allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
