CLASSIC GREEN BEAN RICE ALMONDINE

INGREDIENTS:QUANTITY:
Uncle Ben's® Converted®Brand Rice, prepared as directed 250 ml (1 cup)
butter 10 ml (2 tsp)
garlic, minced 2 ml (1/2 tsp)
frozen green beans, French cut, thawed & drained 250 ml (1 cup)
chicken bouillon granules, dissolved in 50 ml (1/4 cup) of water 2 ml (1/2 tsp)
almonds, toasted, sliced or slivered 50 ml (1/4 cup)


INSTRUCTIONS: Prep: 5min. | Start to Finish: 25min.
  1. Once rice is cooked and set aside for the 5 minute rest, melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add thawed beans, garlic and bouillon and gently stir-fry until heated, 2-3 minutes.
  2. Stir beans and almonds into cooked rice. Serve immediately.
